SAMPATTI (trading as Your Sampatti), Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. We decide how your personal data is used, and we are responsible for looking after it.

What you give us. Your name, your mobile number, your email address if you share it, what you are looking for, and the messages you send us, including the messages you send us on WhatsApp.

What is collected automatically. Information about your device and browser, the pages you visit, and the basic logs we need to run the site and keep it secure.

We use only the cookies the site needs in order to work and to help us understand, in general terms, how it is being used.

When you first visit, we ask you to accept our terms and choose whether to allow optional cookies. You can change that choice at any time from Cookie settings at the foot of every page.

We use your personal data to:

• respond to you and answer what you have asked;
• keep you informed about the homes and services you asked about;
• run, secure and improve this site; and
• meet obligations the law places on us.

We process your personal data with your consent, or where the law otherwise allows us to. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing privacy@yoursampatti.xyz. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did with your data before you withdrew it.

We share personal data only in these situations:

• with the service providers who help us run our services, such as hosting, email and messaging, and only under obligations to protect it;
• with property owners or partners, and only where it is needed to arrange the thing you asked us to arrange; and
• with authorities, where the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal data.

Our service providers may store or process personal data outside India. Where they do, it is with appropriate safeguards in place and only as the law permits.

We keep your personal data only as long as we need it for the purposes set out above, or for as long as the law requires. After that it is deleted or anonymised.

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No system is completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise.

You have the right to:

• ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you;
• have it corrected or updated;
• have it erased;
• withdraw your consent;
• nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf; and
• raise a grievance with us.

To use any of them, email privacy@yoursampatti.xyz. We respond within the time the law requires.

If something about the way we handle your personal data troubles you, write to the Grievance Officer, Your Sampatti, at privacy@yoursampatti.xyz.

If you are not satisfied with how we have answered, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India once it begins accepting complaints.

This site is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data about them.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows which version you are reading.
